the "High as a kite" crew :)
High, my name´s Rob. I´m from New Zealand & have been living in the the south west of Germany for about the last 5 years. My intrest for power kiteing is due to soul brother Steve (AKA Didgesteve for obvious reasons), & his habit of saying "come on Rob, let´s go flying" at 6am, after being
out partying all night. Well in those days I wasn´t known to say no. It didn´t take long to get hooked on the thrill of being dragged around Hampstead Heath in London. It didn´t take long till we had a small following of like minded nutters who were all after the same kick.

After 7 years the location has changed but the kick is still there & now my German friends are getting thier kicks out it. Steve is no longer around (on a regular basis) & without knowing it Markus has taken over his role. There isn´t a weekend go by where Markus is on the phone saying "shall we go flying!!". Well.... that´s what
do you get for getting him hooked I spose.

It all started with one 6" (wide) Flexifoil kite, & as you can imagine it didn´t stop there. Once bitten you feel the need to increase the power & size of the kites. The beauty of the Flexifoil range of kites is the ability to do this by simply "stacking" another Flexifoil on top the first. In this way you can increase the size &
power according to the available wind.
These days we have 1x 10", 3x 8", & 3x 6" Flexis to garantie loadsa smiling faces :)
As if that wasn´t enough we recently purchased 3 Skytiger40 kites also from Flexifoil. Trust me, they are THE most outrageous kites to fly. With 3.8 square meters of sail (Skytiger40) & 4 lines to control the monster you are garantied an action packed afternoon :) Flying a Skytiger, like most 4 line kites, is like having power steering & ABS in the air, & at the same time producing an incredible amount power. At times a bit too much power.
